We are teased by the weather which seems to be moving with us. Behind we spot bits of blue sky. We're still in rain. Finally we get a break in the rain and come across two chairs by the lakeside. Sit down and eat our butties - life doesn't get much better than this (well sun would be good, but you can't have everything!). Got to Tarbet at 2.45, and got into the Ballyhennan Toll House B&B. Midges out in force (Barry don't read this).
Roger - your sheep answer is correct - a Swaledale

From now on, the scenery really gets good. Keep it up, the end is almost in sight. As you have said, this has become such a way of life that 'ordinary' life will seem very odd.

Hi Lin and Pete,
ReplyDeleteWe are following your journey with interest, and are amazed how far you have got and how positive and upbeat you are- even when it rains!
Alas we couldn't get a flight(well an affordable flight)so we won't be able to meet up with you, so we'll have to settle for following your journey online.
All our love and best wishes,
Bobbie and John in Canada
